What does this fault code mean?
The right front door module exchanges data with the right camera module (RCM) over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when internal components in the camera module do not work, so the data the door module receives from the camera is invalid. The LED then does not light.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the right camera module (RCM)
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then test drive the car to see if it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact. Fuse positions are usually shown on the cover of the fuse box
- 3Check the connectors to the right camera and in the door for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool, read live data for the right camera and see whether it responds
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the right camera module (RCM) and the control module in the right front door
