What does this fault code mean?
The right front door module exchanges data with the right camera over the LIN bus. The fault is stored when the supply cable to the right indicator LED is short-circuited to voltage. The LED then does not light, and a message may appear in the information display.
Possible causes
- The supply cable to the LED is short-circuited to voltage
What you can do
- 1Read out and note the fault code, clear it, then test drive the car to see if it returns
- 2With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the supply cable to the LED has no contact with plus. Replace the cable if it is short-circuited
- 3Check the connectors in the indicator for oxidation and loose contacts
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the right camera module (RCM)
