What does this fault code mean?
The control module in the left front door has lost the position of the left front window, so automatic operation of that window does not work. The cause may be that the window was never initialized, a voltage drop during use, or a break in the control module's power supply.
Possible causes
- Window never initialized, or initialization not carried out
- Position lost after a voltage drop while the window lift was in use
- The control module has lost its supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and press the window switch two steps up to check whether automatic operation works
- 2Move the window to its upper limit by hand and start an initialization of the window
- 3After initialization, check that automatic operation works with the switch and that the fault does not return
- 4If the fault returns, check the battery, battery terminals and fuses, since a voltage drop may have caused the position to be lost
- 5If the power supply to the control module is broken, have a workshop trace it
