What does this fault code mean?
The control module in the left rear door has lost the window position information, so automatic operation of the left rear window does not work. The fault may come from a window that was never initialized, a voltage drop when the window lift was used, or a broken power supply to the control module.
Possible causes
- Initialization of the window has not been carried out
- Position lost after a voltage drop while the window lift was activated
- Power supply to the control module in the rear door is broken
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and test the automatic operation of the left rear window with the switch
- 2Move the window to its upper limit by hand and start an initialization
- 3After initialization, check that the fault code does not return when the window is run up and down automatically
- 4If the fault returns, check the battery, battery terminals and fuses, since a voltage drop may have lost the window position
- 5If the power supply to the rear door control module is broken, have a workshop trace it
