What does this fault code mean?
The control module in the right rear door has lost the stored window position, which stops automatic operation of the right rear window. This can be caused by a missing initialization, a voltage drop while the window lift was used, or a break in the power supply.
Possible causes
- Initialization is missing or has not been carried out
- Position lost after a voltage drop while the window lift was activated
- Power supply to the control module is broken
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and check with the switch whether automatic operation of the right rear window works
- 2Move the window in the right rear door to its upper limit by hand and start an initialization
- 3After initialization, run the automatic operation several times to see if the fault code returns
- 4If the fault returns, check the battery, battery terminals and fuses, since a voltage drop may have caused the loss
- 5If the power supply to the rear door control module is broken, have a workshop trace it
Symptoms you may notice1
