Applies to the following models:

What does this fault code mean?
This fault concerns the folding of the driver's side electric mirror. The code is stored when the output current is too high, which here means a short to ground in the supply cable. It is always set together with the matching code for the blocked lock motor, because the two share a wire inside the module.
Possible causes
- Supply cable short-circuited to ground
- Moisture and/or oxidation in connections
What you can do
- 1Read out the fault codes, clear them and check whether they return. Also trace any code for the blocked lock motor
- 2Test the mirror functions with the buttons and controls and note what does not work
- 3With ignition off, use a multimeter to confirm the supply cable to the mirror motor has no contact with ground (body). Replace the cable if it is damaged
- 4Check the connectors in the driver's side mirror for moisture and oxidation, and clean them
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the door module and the mirror motor

- Electric door mirror adjustment does not work
- Door mirror folding does not work
What the fault can affect1
