What does this fault code mean?
The door module supplies the motor for the electrically foldable mirror on the driver's side. The fault is stored when the output current is too low during folding or unfolding, and the left and right mirror buttons have been held down for a long time. Mirror folding and power adjustment then do not work.
Possible causes
- Supply cable short-circuited to voltage
- Open circuit in the supply cable
- Poor contact, oxidation or contact resistance at the connectors
What you can do
- 1Check that the left and right mirror buttons are not stuck in the pressed position
- 2Test the mirror functions with the buttons and controls and note what does not work
- 3Read out the fault codes in the module and trace the other codes stored there first
- 4With ignition off, use a multimeter to check that the supply cable to the mirror motor is not broken and has no contact with voltage. Replace the cable if it is damaged
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check the mirror switch and the door module
Symptoms you may notice3

- Electric door mirror adjustment does not work
