What does this fault code mean?
The driver door module supplies the turn indicator in the driver-side outer mirror. The fault is stored when the current on the output is too low, which means the wire is broken, has contact with battery positive, or has a poor connection in the connectors.
Possible causes
- The supply wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the supply wire
- Contact resistance, oxidation or a loose connection in the connectors
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check whether the indicator in the mirror flashes when you use the turn signal
- 3Inspect the cable from the door to the mirror for chafing and pinching
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wire is not broken and has no contact with battery positive
- 5Check the connectors in the door and at the mirror base for looseness and oxidation
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module and the mirror
Symptoms you may notice1
- The side marker or position light in the mirror does not work
