What does this fault code mean?
The driver door module receives signals over the LIN bus from the rear door modules and from the control panel in the driver door. The fault is stored when the signal is incorrect, which means the check that confirms the signal is valid does not match. The cause then lies in the unit that sends the signal, not in the driver door module.
Possible causes
- The fault lies in the sending module, that is the rear door module or the control panel in the driver door
What you can do
- 1Read and clear the codes in the door modules, then road test to see whether the code returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check that the connectors to the control panel and to the rear door modules are secure and not corroded
- 4Test the rear window lift and the driver door control panel separately to see which part works
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment determine which module sends the faulty signal and repair it
Symptoms you may notice2
- The control panel in the driver door does not work
- The electric window lift in the rear door does not work
