What does this fault code mean?
The driver door module supplies the motor that moves the driver-side outer mirror up and down. The fault is stored when the motor is activated in either direction and the signal from the output is too low, which is caused by the supply wire having contact with battery positive.
Possible causes
- The supply wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses for the mirrors are intact
- 2Test the mirror up and down and see whether it moves in both directions
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the mirror motor has no contact with battery positive and is not broken
- 4Inspect the cable from the door to the mirror for chafing and pinching
- 5Check the connectors in the door and at the mirror base for oxidation
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module and the mirror motor
Symptoms you may notice1
- Electric adjustment of the mirrors does not work
