What does this fault code mean?
The module in the left front door supplies the turn indicator in the left outer mirror. The fault is stored when the signal from the output is too low, which is caused by the supply wire having contact with ground.
Possible causes
- The supply wire is short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, activate the turn indicator and check that the lamp in the left mirror lights up
- 3Inspect the cable between the door and the mirror for chafing and pinching
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wire to the indicator has no contact with ground
- 5Read and clear the code and check whether it returns
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module and the mirror
