What does this fault code mean?
The module in the left front door supplies the turn indicator in the left outer mirror. The fault is stored when the signal from the output is too high, which is caused by the supply wire having contact with supply voltage or by a break in the supply wire.
Possible causes
- The supply wire is short-circuited to supply voltage
- Open circuit in the supply wire
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check whether the indicator in the left mirror lights when you use the left turn signal
- 3Inspect the cable between the door and the mirror for chafing and pinching
- 4Use a multimeter to check that the wire has no contact with battery positive and is not broken
- 5Read and clear the code and check whether it returns
- 6If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the control module and the mirror
Symptoms you may notice1
