What does this fault code mean?
The driver door module communicates over LIN with the camera on the driver side of the car, which is part of the blind spot information system (BLIS). The fault is stored when the module registers an internal fault in the LIN communication with the camera, and the cause lies in the camera in the driver door.
Possible causes
- Fault inside the driver-side camera
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Start the engine and check that the LEDs in the blind spot system flash when the system is activated
- 3Check that the connectors at the camera are secure and free from moisture
- 4If the fault was stored once and does not return, no action is needed
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment replace the camera on the affected side
