What does this fault code mean?
The driver door module communicates over LIN with the camera in the driver door, which is part of the blind spot information system (BLIS). The fault is stored when the module registers that communication with the camera is not possible, and the cause is an internal fault in the camera.
Possible causes
- Fault inside the driver-side camera
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Start the engine and see whether the LEDs flash when the blind spot system is activated
- 3Inspect the wires between the driver door and the camera for chafing and visible damage
- 4If the code does not return after a road test, no action is needed, as it was most likely temporary
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment replace the camera
Symptoms you may notice2
- An LED does not light up
- A message is shown in the text display
