What does this fault code mean?
The driver or passenger door module (DDM/PDM) has registered an electrical fault in its own internal components. The fault lies in the module and not in the wiring around it. It mainly shows up as the electric window lift not working, and the module normally needs to be replaced.
Possible causes
- Internal electrical fault in the module
What you can do
- 1Read and erase the code, then road test the window lift to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact
- 3Check that the window lift works with the switches in both front doors
- 4If the code returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the module, as it probably needs replacing
- 5After a module replacement the window position must be initialised, which a workshop should do
