What does this fault code mean?
Although the code is titled pump motor, it concerns the oil pressure pump, and the fault lies in the four-wheel drive control module (DEM) itself. The module compares the current from the pump with predefined limits, and the code is stored when the deviation lasts too long. The four-wheel drive is disengaged, and the remedy is to replace the control module.
