What does this fault code mean?
The driver information module (DIM) monitors the circuit to the ABS warning lamp. If the module detects an internal open circuit in that circuit, the code is set. The ABS lamp then does not light as it should, and a general orange warning lamp may light instead.

- Software fault in the driver information module (DIM)
What you can do
- 1Switch the ignition on and check that the ABS lamp lights. If it does not, the fault is probably in the circuit to the lamp
- 2Check that the fuses are intact; their locations are in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 3Clear the fault code and test drive the vehicle. If the fault returns, have a workshop replace the driver information module
- 4The ABS helps keep the vehicle stable when braking. If the lamp shows a fault or the brakes feel different, have a workshop check the braking system
