What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has detected an internal fault in the voltage transformer that powers the piezo-electric injectors. The code is set when the fault lies in that part of the control module. The fault may light the check engine lamp.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop check that the engine control module has the latest software and reload it if needed
- 2Check the battery condition and that the battery terminals are tight, since voltage disturbances can affect the module
- 3If the fault persists after the software check, the engine control module is probably damaged and a workshop should replace it
Symptoms you may notice1
- Check engine lamp lit or behaving abnormally
