What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module has found a signal from its internal atmospheric pressure sensor that has been too high for a certain time. The module itself is giving a wrong value, so the air pressure it uses is not correct.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and check whether it returns
- 2If the fault occurred only once, it may have been a disturbance at start-up
- 3If the fault is permanent, the engine control module must be replaced by a workshop
Symptoms you may notice1
- The malfunction indicator lamp comes on
What the fault can affect1
- Engine management assumes a standard pressure corresponding to sea level
