This fault code has different meanings depending on model, model year or engine. Select the meaning that applies to your car.
Applies to the following models:
4 modelsC30 (2007–2013), C70 (2006–2013), S40 (2004–2013), V50 (2004–2013)

What does this fault code mean?
Although the fault says the signal is missing, the engine control module (ECM) checks whether the signal from the A/C pressure sensor is reasonable, and the fault is set when there is an electrical fault in the sensor or its connections.
Possible causes
- Play, contact resistance or oxidation in the connector
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code, clear it and test drive with the engine at higher revs to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses are intact; their position is in the owner's manual or on the fuse box cover
- 3Check the A/C pressure sensor connector for play, contact resistance and oxidation
- 4If you have a diagnostic tool: read the A/C pressure in live data with the engine running; a value that stays still points to a faulty sensor or connector
- 5If the connector is fault-free: have a workshop fit a new A/C pressure sensor
Symptoms you may notice1
- The A/C system does not work
