What does this fault code mean?
The fault is set when the air conditioning is active at the same time as the engine control module runs its EGR test. It therefore comes from two functions overlapping, not necessarily from a fault in the A/C pressure sensor.
Possible causes
- The air conditioning is switched on while the engine control module's EGR test runs
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code and see whether it is still there with the air conditioning switched off and the engine running
- 2Clear the fault code and drive for a while with the air conditioning switched off; if it does not return, it was most likely a temporary overlap
- 3If the fault returns even with the air conditioning switched off: have a workshop check the A/C pressure sensor and its connector
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
