What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) has recorded that the voltage was too low when its internal processor was being reprogrammed. The fault lies in the software and can be corrected by reprogramming with a stable supply voltage.
Possible causes
- Software error
What you can do
- 1Check that the battery is fully charged and that the terminals are tight, since low voltage during programming causes the fault
- 2Have a workshop reprogram the engine control module with the latest software
- 3Clear the fault code once programming is finished and check that it does not come back
Symptoms you may notice2
- The engine is difficult to start
- The engine feels lacking in power
