What does this fault code mean?
The injector for cylinder 2 is controlled by the engine control module's internal power stage. Although the fault is shown as a signal that is too low, the fault lies in the control module, and the code is set when it detects a fault in that control.
Possible causes
- Internal fault in the ECM
What you can do
- 1Use diagnostic equipment to read the fault status, and check whether the fault is still active when the reading is finished
- 2Clear the fault code and road test the car to see whether it returns
- 3Have a workshop replace the control module if the fault returns after clearing and a road test
