What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module has detected an internal fault in the lambda control. The fault therefore lies in the control module itself and not in the sensor or wiring. If it persists, the control module must be replaced.
Possible causes
- Fault inside the engine control module (ECM) itself
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and drive for a while
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: check after some driving that the fault is no longer active
- 3If the fault returns, have a workshop check the control module and replace it if the fault remains
