What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) receives no signal from the A/C pressure sensor, and the code is then set. The fault may lie in the wire or in the sensor itself.
Possible causes
- Break in the signal wire from the A/C pressure sensor
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor
What you can do
- 1Have a workshop establish whether the A/C system holds any refrigerant, since that points to where the fault lies
- 2With refrigerant present but no signal, the sensor is the likely suspect and a workshop should replace it
- 3With a multimeter you can look for a break in the signal wire to the sensor
- 4Have a workshop check the A/C system for leaks and damage
