What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) normally receives messages from the transmission control module (TCM) over the CAN network. If those messages are missing or wrong, the code is set and the accelerator pedal may respond poorly. Engine torque is limited to a calculated reasonable value, and a message is shown in the display.

- Faulty CAN communication
- The fault lies in the transmission control module (TCM)

- 1Read and fix the codes in the transmission control module (TCM) first
- 2Then read the CAN-related codes in the central electronic module (CEM)
- 3Check that the connectors on the CAN network are fully seated and free from corrosion
- 4Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
