What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) receives configuration data from the central electronic module (CEM) over the CAN network. If the CEM finds that the data for the parking heater is incorrect, the code is stored in the engine module. The driver normally does not notice the fault.
Possible causes
- Incorrect configuration data for the car
- The fault lies in the central electronic module (CEM)
What you can do
- 1Read and note the codes in the central electronic module (CEM) first
- 2Fix the faults in the CEM. The engine module's code can only be cleared once those are repaired and cleared
- 3Then clear the engine module's code and road test to see whether it returns
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
