What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has detected an internal fault in the driver stages that switch the injectors. The fault applies to the S60 (-09), S80 (-06), V70 (00-08), V70 XC and XC90. The engine may stall or run unevenly. The fault is in the module itself, and a workshop normally replaces it and programs a new one.

- Internal fault in the engine control module
What you can do
- 1Read and note the code, clear it and road test to see whether it returns
- 2Check the battery condition and that the earth and the connectors to the engine control module are secure and clean
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the engine control module and program it, as a new module is supplied without software
