What does this fault code mean?
The fault is intermittent, meaning it has occurred at some point but may not be present now. The engine control module (ECM) registered an internal fault on an earlier occasion, but has since established that the fault is no longer present.

- Defective engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and test drive the car. If it returns and performance stays reduced, the engine control module is probably faulty
- 2Since the code shows an internal fault in the engine control module, a workshop is the right party to decide whether it needs replacing
