What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module's own monitoring has registered one or more current values that do not agree with its check value. The fault therefore lies in the engine control module itself, and engine speed and torque are limited.

- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1Clear the code and test drive the car to see whether it comes back
- 2If the code returns, or the fault is permanent, the engine control module needs replacing. A workshop carries out the replacement

- Low maximum engine speed
- Cruise control does not work at all
- Uneven idle
- Malfunction indicator lamp lit
