What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has registered an internal fault, because its monitoring functions have received values that do not match the check values. The code is set, and the engine is limited in speed and torque.
Possible causes
- Damaged engine control module (ECM)
What you can do
- 1After clearing, test drive the car and see whether the code comes back
- 2If it returns, or the fault is permanent, the engine control module must be replaced by a workshop
