What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module uses the Premair sensor to check that the correct radiator is fitted to the car. The sensor sends encrypted information over the LIN network. The code is set when the engine control module finds that the sensor information is incorrect. It is only checked while driving, not when the car is stationary with the engine running, and the code usually returns after being cleared, which is normal for it.
Possible causes
- The code is not caused by any fault in the system
What you can do
- 1Clear the fault code and road test the car; the code will probably come back, as this is normal for it
- 2Do not carry out any repair because of this code, as it does not indicate a fault
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
