What does this fault code mean?
This fault code concerns the control signal for the fuel pressure valve. It is set when the control module detects that the signal is too low. The fault lies primarily in the fuel pressure control valve.
Possible causes
- Damaged fuel pressure control valve
What you can do
- 1Check the connector at the fuel pressure control valve for contact resistance and oxidation
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: activate the fuel pressure control valve and check that it responds
- 3Have a workshop check the fuel pressure control valve and replace it if needed
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
What the fault can affect1
- The fuel pump is controlled using a calculated value instead of the measured one
