What does this fault code mean?
This fault code is event-based and is only information; it does not indicate a fault in the control module where it is active. It is set after several failed start attempts in a short time and may be linked to the fuel pressure control valve. It does not need to be fixed.
Possible causes
- No real fault that needs repair lies behind this code
- The fuel pressure control valve may be damaged electrically or mechanically
What you can do
- 1Read off the fault codes and check whether any other fault code for the fuel pressure control valve or the fuel system is also present
- 2Check that the battery is charged and that the starter motor cranks the engine clearly
- 3If the starting problems remain, have a workshop check the fuel pressure control valve

- The engine cranks slowly and may be hard to start, especially when cold
