What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module (ECM) compares the fuel pressure on the low-pressure side with the target value while the engine is running. The fault code is set when the pressure is too far below the target value. It can be caused by a low fuel level in the tank, a clogged high-pressure pump, a clogged check valve in the inlet pipe, or air in the system.

- Clogged check valve in the inlet pipe
- Air in the fuel system
What you can do
- 1Make sure there is enough fuel in the tank
- 2If the level has been low, add fuel and drive the car to see whether the fault goes away
- 3If you have a diagnostic tool: read the fuel pressure in live data with the engine running and see whether it drops below the target value
- 4Have a workshop check the high-pressure pump and the check valve in the inlet pipe if the fault remains
