What does this fault code mean?
This fault code concerns how the intake air temperature relates to the outside air temperature. The engine control module (ECM) checks the temperature in the boost pressure sensor against the surrounding air, and the fault code is set when that signal is wrong.
Possible causes
- Looseness, contact resistance or oxidation in the connector
- Damaged boost pressure sensor (TMAP)
What you can do
- 1Check the boost pressure sensor connector for looseness, contact resistance and oxidation
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the boost pressure sensor temperature in live data with the outside temperature after the car has been standing
- 3Have a workshop check the boost pressure sensor if the temperature still differs

- No noticeable symptoms for the driver

- The engine control module uses a calculated value instead of the measured temperature
