What does this fault code mean?
This is an event-driven code, meaning an information code rather than a sign of a fault that needs fixing in the module where it is active. It is stored when the air mass correction factor becomes too low while the lambda adaptation sits above or below a fixed figure. It normally does not need clearing, since it disappears once the conditions no longer apply.

What you can do
- 1Look for other fault codes on the mass air flow sensor or the intake system and deal with those first
- 2Check that the mass air flow sensor connector sits firmly and is free from oxidation
- 3Have a workshop check the mass air flow sensor if the code does not disappear once the other faults are dealt with
