What does this fault code mean?
This code means the atmospheric pressure signal is too low. The control module then uses a standard value instead, which corresponds to pressure at sea level.
Possible causes
- The engine control module (ECM) is damaged
What you can do
- 1Read the fault code status with the ignition on and check whether the fault is active. Then clear the code and road test the vehicle to see whether it returns
- 2Check that the fuses for the engine control module are intact
- 3If the fault returns after the road test, have a workshop check the engine control module. It is replaced only once a workshop has confirmed a permanent fault
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
What the fault can affect1
- The control module uses a standard atmospheric pressure value that corresponds to sea level
