What does this fault code mean?
The code concerns the range and performance of the fuel temperature. The engine control module (ECM) compares the values from the temperature sensors in the fuel injectors, and when one of them shows a different value from the other three, the code is set while the engine is running.
Possible causes
- Cylinder 1's injector is damaged
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: compare the fuel temperature from the four injectors in live data with the engine running
- 3If one injector differs in live data, have a workshop check the fuel injector for cylinder 1
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
General guidance for car owners. Diagnosis on the car can point to a different cause.
