What does this fault code mean?
The ECM monitors the fuel system and has detected an implausible signal from the injection valves, meaning the signal does not match what is expected. The cause may be a damaged injector or an injector of the wrong type, and the car may then feel sluggish and lack power.

What you can do
- 1Clear the code and road test to see whether it returns
- 2If any injector has recently been replaced, check that the correct type is fitted
- 3Look at the injector connectors and wiring for loose connections, chafing and corrosion
- 4With a multimeter, check that the injector wires are not in contact with each other
- 5If the fault remains, have a workshop check and, if needed, replace damaged injectors using diagnostic equipment
