What does this fault code mean?
This is an event-controlled code. It shows that the engine has been overspeeded and is meant as information, not as a fault in the control module. The control module monitors the cam profile control and sets the code when the engine has run at too high a speed, for example after a wrong gear change.

- Incorrect gear shifting

- 1Clear the code if it is still present. It is an information code that the engine has been overspeeded
- 2Think back to whether you shifted wrongly during the drive, so that the engine ran at too high a speed
- 3If the code returns without a wrong gear change, have a workshop check the cam profile control with diagnostic equipment
