What does this fault code mean?
This code is event-based. The engine control module (ECM) monitors the exhaust with the lambda value and can determine it for each cylinder. Although the code is named cylinder 2, the deviation applies to the cylinders in bank 2, cylinders 4 to 6. The difference between them is too large to be compensated by individual cylinder lambda control. The cause is mechanical in the engine.
