What does this fault code mean?
The code is set when the signal from the EVAP valve is too low. It may be caused by the signal wire being shorted to ground.
Possible causes
- Signal cable short-circuited to ground
What you can do
- 1Use a multimeter to check that the wires to the EVAP valve have no contact with ground (the body)
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool, read the fault status for the EVAP valve once the circuit has been checked
- 3Check that the harness between the control module and the EVAP valve is not chafed
- 4If the fault remains, have a workshop check the EVAP valve and its harness

- No noticeable symptoms for the driver

- Control with two oxygen sensors is blocked
