What does this fault code mean?
The module tests the A/C sensor circuit electrically, and the code is set when it finds that the circuit voltage is too low. The cause may be a signal wire shorted to ground, a damaged connector or wire, or a damaged sensor. The fault can show up as the air conditioning or the heating not working.
Possible causes
- Signal wire shorted to ground
- Connector or wire damaged
- Damaged A/C pressure sensor
What you can do
- 1Check that the fuses are intact
- 2Check that the A/C pressure sensor connector is secure and undamaged
- 3Use a multimeter to check that the signal wire to the A/C pressure sensor is not shorted to ground
- 4Where possible, check the relevant functions with the buttons and controls: see whether A/C and heating can be operated and whether the temperature becomes even
- 5Clear the code and see whether it returns after a drive with the A/C on
- 6If the code returns, have a workshop with diagnostic equipment check the sensor and its wiring
Symptoms you may notice3
- The air conditioning does not work
- Uneven cabin temperature
- The heater does not work
What the fault can affect1
- A constant value for the A/C pressure is used
