What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has recorded a fault in the supervision software, which checks the module's internal components and functions. The code is set when the module finds an internal fault at ignition on. The cause is a damaged ECM.

- Damaged ECM
What you can do
- 1Read the code with the ignition on and note whether it is active right now
- 2Check that the battery is charged and that the battery terminals and earth connections are tight and clean
- 3Check that the connectors at the ECM are tight and free from corrosion
- 4If the fault comes back, have a workshop replace the engine control module
