What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has recorded a fault in its A/D processing, meaning the conversion of analogue signals into digital ones. The code does not state a more specific fault type. The cause may be faulty software or a damaged module.

- Faulty software in the ECM
- Damaged ECM
What you can do
- 1Read the code with the ignition on and note whether it is active right now
- 2Check that the battery is charged and that the battery terminals and earth connections are tight
- 3If ECM-P060A00 is also stored at the same time, this points to a software fault
- 4In that case the module should not be replaced before the software has been checked. Have a workshop confirm that it has the latest software
- 5If the fault still comes back, have a workshop replace the engine control module

- The car feels weak and lacks power
- The engine does not start, either always or only sometimes, or cranks without starting
