What does this fault code mean?
The ECM has recorded a programming fault. Some current values do not agree with their complement values, which limits engine speed and torque. An uneven idle and cruise control stopping working may be noticed.

- Damaged ECM
What you can do
- 1Read the code, clear it and road test the car to see whether it comes back
- 2Check the battery charge and that the battery terminals and earth connections are tight and clean
- 3If the fault comes back, have a workshop replace the engine control module

- Malfunction indicator lamp comes on
- Maximum engine speed is lower than normal
- Cruise control does not work at all
- Idle is uneven
