What does this fault code mean?
The ECM checks the drive stage for the starter relay, and the code is set after engine start when an internal fault is found. The code indicates that the temperature in the drive stage is too high. The fault lies in the module itself.
Possible causes
- Damaged ECM
What you can do
- 1Read the code and clear it, and check whether it comes back when the car is started
- 2Check the battery charge and that the battery terminals and earth connections are tight and clean
- 3If the fault remains, have a workshop replace the engine control module, since the fault is repaired by replacing it
