What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module checks the amount of fuel injected against what was requested, and counts how often the difference goes beyond an upper or lower limit value. The code is set once a limit has been crossed too many times. The fault should be traced together with the other fuel system fault codes.
Possible causes
- Trace according to the other fault codes for the fuel system
What you can do
- 1There is no separate fault tracing for this code. Start with the fuel system fault codes
- 2If you have a diagnostic tool: read the status of the code with the ignition on and see whether it is active
- 3Remedy the fuel system fault codes first, then check whether this code is still present
Symptoms you may notice1
- No noticeable symptoms for the driver
