What does this fault code mean?
The engine control module has built-in control systems for detecting internal faults. The fault code is set when the monitoring registers a temporary fault in the injectors' control system, and fuel is shut off with an active fault. The fault lies in the control module's calculations and is linked to other injection fault codes.
Possible causes
- Signal interference
- Damaged injection valves
- Software error
- Fault codes stored at the same time: ECM-P062D05, ECM-P062D92 or ECM-P062D94
What you can do
- 1With the ignition on, read the diagnostic status and fault status for the code
- 2Check whether the fault is still active
- 3Check that the fuses are intact
- 4If the fault remains: have a workshop check the engine control and its software
Symptoms you may notice3
- The engine does not start, sometimes or all the time
- The engine lacks power
- The starter motor does not turn over on starting, and a clicking sound may be heard
What the fault can affect1
- The fuel supply is shut off while the fault is active
